Vucic to visit big companies in United States

The program of the U.S. visit includes a tour of big companies, as the economic interest is at the forefront of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic's mind, Serbian Ambassador to the U.S. Djerdj Metkovic has said

Vucic, who is travelling to the U.S. on June 1 on Washington's initiative, will meet Vice President Joseph Biden, congressmen, senators, and give a lecture at Johns Hopkins University, Matkovic has added.

In a statement to Banja Luka-based BN TV, Matkovic has said that the program is likely to include Vucic's visit to New York, where, “if possible, he will talk with certain businessmen and maybe take part in a meeting of the UN Security Council.”

“Preparations for the visit are already under way, and in contact with officials of the White House, Department of State and Congress, we have seen that all are very interested in Vucic's visit,” Matkovic has said.
