Sertic: Companies and funds interested in Telekom Srbija

Serbian Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic stated on Tuesday that the interest in the privatisation of local Telekom Srbija telecommunications company is huge and added that the list of bidders includes both companies and investment funds

The number of interested bidders for Telekom privatisation is sufficient, Sertic told the Belgrade-based Television B92 but he did not wish to specify the actual figure.

Sertic said that the deadline for submission of non-binding offers for Telekom Srbija, in the ownership structure of which the government currently has a majority share, will end on August 3, after which the list of bidders expected to file tangible offers would be drawn up.

The Privatisation Agency has released the public call for sale of 58.1 percent of Telekom Srbija.
