Serbian Patriarch Irinej released from VMA clinic, returns to his duties

His condition has stabilized and he is feeling incomparably better than in previous days

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej has been released from the Military Medical Academy (VMA), where he had been recovering from a severe cold in recent days, TV Hram has reported.

The patriarch's medical condition has stabilized in recent days and he is feeling incomparably better than on Thursday, when he was admitted to the VMA due to exhaustion caused by a multi-day fever.

His Holiness has, as of today, returned to his regular duties as the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) at his headquarters in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade.
