See how far the building of sheikh's hotel in Serbia has progressed

According to the original plan, the hotel's construction should have been completed by now, and it was announced that the sheik would bring a new meaning of luxury to Kopaonik

These days, too, work is ongoing on the hotel, which they say will be a kind of a residence and pride of Kopaonik.

Since the beginning of the works the media have been referred to it as a"special facility" for Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who, after visiting Kopaonik in 2013 wished to have a villa on that mountain.

As our crew could see for ourselves on the spot, even though workers are working "full steam" it is unlikely that the hotel will be completed this season.

UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan bought the Jugobanka Hotel on Kopaonik for 2.8 million euros. It remains unclear whether it will be just his residence or if the hotel will serve other guests.

This structure is located near the cable car, and the crown prince saw it when he visited Kopaonik. According to some, the hotel will have a maximum of 50 rooms.

It will have about ten floors on 10,000 square meters.

What is speculated on, however, is whether the sheik will even set foot in this building, worth tens of millions of euros. It is rumored that he has withdrawn from the deal and that the hotel is being built by another investor.

A board that was installed at the construction site several years ago still says that the investor is the Belgrade-based KP company.
