President Aleksandar Vucic met with Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Milorad Dodik today to discuss Serbia's assistance to the Serb Republic (RS) in materials and equipment for combating coronavirus.

Vucic and Dodik met in Villa Bokeljka in Belgrade, and in accordance with the virus protection measures, greeted each other with elbows; both officials and their associates wore masks during the meeting.

Dodik said earlier that the president of Serbia had previously announced he would divert a portion of China's assistance package sent to Serbia to BiH.

He told Alternativna TV on Saturday that he would be traveling to Serbia because BiH needs ventilators, masks, gloves, overalls for healthcare workers, although there are currently enough of those.

"We need to strengthen regional hospitals with ventilators and the testing service in order to open centers in Bijeljina, Doboj, Foca, East Sarajevo, because currently tests are done only in Banja Luka," Dodik said.

He expects the arrival of 25,000 coronavirus testing kits.
