6 more people die from coronavirus in Serbia: 93 patients on ventilators, 289 new cases

The latest figures about coronavirus infections and deaths in Serbia have been published for today

By 3 pm on July 6, 2020, another 289 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the Republic of Serbia, while six more people died. A total of 16,420 confirmed Covid-19 cases have been registered so far.

Since the last report, samples have been taken from 7,872 people for testing, the Covid19.rs website said.

The total number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic has risen to 317.

There are currently 93 patients on ventilators. The total number of active cases is 2,737.

The total number of people tested since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia is 447,317. The mortality rate is 1.93 percent.
