A serious accident happened today in central Belgrade in a construction site when a mass of soil fell onto a worker, 28-year-old A. P., Telegraf.rs has learned.

It all happened on the corner of Knez Danilova and Stanoja Glavasa streets.
As we learned, the man, about 30 years old, was under the soil for about five minutes. Other workers and an excavator tried to dig him out, and then firefighters had trouble pulling out the lifeless body.
An ambulance crew pronounced him dead.
As the Ministry of the Interior confirmed for us, the cause of death was a soil collapse.
