As they found out in the office of the president of the municipality of Bac, all citizens who were left homeless by this unfortunate event are now temporarily housed in a sports hall in this town in northern Serbia.
Firefighters from Bac were the first to arrive at the scene, and soon members of the fire brigade from Novi Sad came to help them.
The cause of the fire is not known yet, while an investigation is being carried out at the scene.
