Medical technician accused of raping mentally ill patient: Horror in Sokolac

N.K. is suspected of repeating the criminal act several times

A report has been filed against a medical technician, N.K., employed by the psychiatry ward in Sokolac, on suspicion that he raped a patient. This has been confirmed for Srpskainfo.

A spokeswoman for the East Sarajevo Police Department, Vesna Stokanovic, said that N K. is a Pale resident and that a report against him has been submitted by the police from Sokolac, and that he is charged with raping a helpless person and abusing his official position.

"He is suspected of, on several occasions, using his official position as an employee in a health institution in Sokolac, to commit rape or an equal sexual act over a mentally ill patient, against his will," Stokanovic explained.
