Montenegro has not changed conditions for entry of foreign citizens to its territory, but it has been decided to end the obligatory wearing of face masks, only in the open.

The measure according to which masks do not have to be worn in the open, but only indoors, will be valid from Saturday until May 28.

The measure banning gatherings of more that 20 people in a public space also remains in force.

As far as the entry of foreigners is concerned, Montegrin border can be crossed without conditions by citizens of neighboring countries: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, as well as Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and from the territory of Kosovo.

All others must have a negative PCR test, proof that they have antibodies or proof that they have received both doses of the coronavirus vaccine, it was announced during a press conference.

Dr. Igor Galic, the director of the Institute of Public Health, said that coronavirus numbers in Montenegro are at the lowest level since last year, with the exception of last August.
