"With Delta strain, vaccination level is not enough": Kon about scenario possible even before fall

Epidemiologist and member of the Crisis HQ, Predrag Kon, told Pink TV that it is still necessary to respect Covid restrictions.

"The Delta strain is currently dominant in the world," Kon pointed out and added that the problem is not the new strain but the insufficient number of vaccinated people.

"We were very satisfied with the level of vaccination when we had the Chinese strain, and even the British, but with this Delta strain, which is more contagious, that level of vaccination is not enough," said Kon.
