To mark US Independence Day in Sojevo near Urosevac, close to the Bondsteel military base, works to prepare green areas and erect a statue of US Joe Biden have been ceremoniously launched, reports Klan Kosova.

Members of the US KFOR from Bondsteel and citizens of Urosevac are participating in this activity, which they are conducting in cooperation with the network of non-governmental organizations Avonet.
The project, which will be financed by citizens and companies from Urosevac, is expected to cost more than 600,000 euros.
