Partizan Belgrade has advanced to the group stage of the newly formed Conference League after making up for the 2-1 loss to Santa Clara in the first leg played in Portugal.

Partizan celebrated with a 2-0 win in Belgrade and so, after a one-year break, they will compete again on the international scene in the newly formed competition along with clubs like Roma, Feyenoord, Basel, Tottenham...

In addition to the success on the pitch, the black-and-whites also recorded a significant financial gain. The victory over Santa Clara brought them a premium of 2,940,000 euros for entering the group stage, but also an additional bonus based on a ten-year coefficient, where the club can count on another 1,000,000 euros.

By Partizan qualifying for the Conference League, Serbia's chances of finishing above the 15th place in the table of the national coefficient by the end of the season have increased, which would mean two places in the qualifications for the Champions League and one in the qualifications for the Europa League for Serbian clubs in future seasons.

The victory over Santa Clara has brought a UEFA coefficient point to Partizan, and added 250 points to Serbia's national coefficient.

Now that Serbia has two teams in the group stage of European competitions, it is almost certain that we will be among the 15 best countries, and that is why the victory of Partizan against Santa Clara was of key importance for Serbian football.
