One of the three Serbs injured near Brnjak, Dragisa Vlaskovic, told Kosovo Online as he was admitted to the KBC Kosovska Mitrovica today that he was beaten by members of the special Kosovo police when he went to cut wood with two other friends.

"I was not on the barricades, I went to get something done. They shouted something in Albanian, I didn't understand, they threw me on the road, hit me on the back, on my mouth, they knocked out my tooth," Vlaskovic said before being admitted to the hospital.

Visibly shaken, he added, "There was blood, I asked for water, but no one wanted to give it to me."

"They cursed us, cursed by mother, (said) 'we'll kill you'. I don't know if they suspected that we were going to the barricades," said the victim.

The three Serbs were injured near Brnjak when they were assaulted by members of the special Kosovo police, after which they were transferred to the KBC Kosovska Mitrovica for further medical examination.
