Police stop drunk cyclist in Kula: He was riding his bike with 2.33 permilles of blood alcohol

The suspect has been detained for up to 12 hours and a misdemeanor complaint has been filed against him

During a regular check, members of the traffic police in Kula yesterday stopped a 49-year-old cyclist who was riding on the road between Sivac and Crvenka, with 2.33 permilles of blood alcohol content in his body.

The cyclist was excluded from traffic due to violent driving, the Sombor Police Department announced.

The suspect has been detained for up to 12 hours and a misdemeanor complaint has been filed against him under the Traffic Safety Law.
