Red Star coach Dejan Stankovic held a press conference on the occasion of the beginning of the club's winter preparations, at which he spoke for the first time about his clash with goalkeeper Milan Borjan, but he also touched on Novak Djokovic's situation.

In a statement for Telegraf, Stankovic had already said that he believes Djokovic will turn this injustice into his victory, and now he stresses that he hopes Novak will play at the Australian Open and expects his triumph and the 21st Grand Slam title.

"I have not spoken with Novak, but I gave my opinion and my comment. You need to let the man do what he knows best, play tennis. I said he would turn this into his strength. The man has proven his inner strength to fight a million times. And this too shall pass, I am convinced that he will play and fight for himself and his justice. I expect him to win the Australian Open. If he does, he will prove that he truly is the greatest. I use this opportunity to wish him all the luck in the world, and to continue on his path," said Dejan Stankovic.
