Brnabic: Serbia will defend its position in current international crisis

"The pressure is terrible, and that position defends what we have achieved so far. As much as we can defend it, we will defend it. What protects small countries, like Serbia, is their principled position," Ana Brnabic said at at the end of the Kopaonik Business Forum

Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic stated on Wednesday that Serbia will defend its position in the current international crisis, because, as she pointed out, it is a position based on arguments that relies on international law and justice.

"The pressure is terrible, and that position defends what we have achieved so far. As much as we can defend it, we will defend it. What protects small countries, like Serbia, is their principled position," Ana Brnabic said at at the end of the Kopaonik Business Forum.

She added that these are difficult decisions, because the political and economic interests of the state must be defended.

"People who analyze and criticize our moves do not see the whole situation and the bigger picture, which, in addition to respecting international law, also concerns to what degree international law is respected in our case. As well as that we have to protect our economy and everything that we have gained through hard work all these years," said Brnabic.
