A hand grenade was thrown at a hair salon in Branicevska Street in Belgrade at around 4 o'clock this morning, causing major material damage.

The owner of the premises is currently at the police station.

A video shows a man wearing a gray hood on his head first smash a window with a hammer and then throw a hand grenade in. After that, he fled the scene.

The residents of this building where the salon is located got woken up by a loud bang.

The owner of the salon claims he "has no enemies and doesn't know what the reason for the attack could be." The police are trying to identify the attacker.

"He has a wife and two children. She keeps crying, they are afraid for their safety. Nikola, the owner, is now at the police station," said one of the salon's workers.
