Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic has urgently ordered an extraordinary inspection into the causes and circumstances that have led to the endangering the health of six miners in the Stavalj coal mine near Sjenica.

"The most important thing is that the miners are in stable condition and that their lives are not in danger. At the moment, two miners are being kept in the hospital for monitoring, while the other four are being treated at home," Minister Djedovic said.
The Ministry of Mining and Energy will inform the public in a timely manner about the state of health of the miners and the inspection report. The first report is expected during the day tomorrow.
