The police, in cooperation with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, have arrested a minor, K.N. (16) on suspicion that he stabbed two 17-year-olds, A.S. and M.K., Telegraf has learned.

The incident happened on Sunday around 11 pm.

According to information available to us, the suspect has been questioned in the Department for Juveniles and remanded in custody for up to 30 days.

Doctors at the Emergency Center are fighting to save A.S. who received stab wounds to the neck and chest, while his friend M.K. was admitted with two stab wounds to his hand.

As Telegraf.rs reported earlier, the two friends were attacked in Karadjordjeva Street. One of the minors held a flare, and the other had a knife.

"The argument and fight between the minors started on a tram. The clash continued in the street. K.N. escaped after the attempted murder of the two minors. However, the police soon arrested him and he and his father have been questioned in the prosecutor's office. Because of the serious nature of the criminal offense he is charged with, he has been detained," said our source close to the investigation.
