The best Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, touched on the subject of the tennis center in Belgrade which he recently returned to the city. He spoke about this when asked what his base for preparations will now be, when he goes back to Serbia.

"We are returning the center to the city, we don't know what will happen now. What the city will decide to do with the club. In my opinion, I gave a friendly proposal for it to become a national tennis center, which has been the wish of TSS (Tennis Association of Serbia) and all of us tennis workers for the past 15-20 years. This sport, which has given a lot to Serbia, deserves to have a training center. That's ideal. I'm moving on to new projects and in the next couple of years something will be realized, in another location, whether in Serbia or not, we'll see," said Novak.

There is a solution for his preparations in the capital, but it is still not the clearest.

"As for my base in Belgrade. I don't know that yet. I assume it will be Gemax, the hall. As for clay and concrete outdoors, we'll see. Maybe even 25. Maj (sports center), depending on who will enter there and how it will be managed," Djokovic concluded.
