One person was seriously injured in a traffic accident that happened at the exit for Lapovo on the Belgrade-Nis highway.

"The driver was moving towards Belgrade and while speeding, lost control of the vehicle and broke through the guardrail. The metal structure cut through the entire car and it is really lucky that the driver remained alive," eyewitnesses told the RINA agency.
The injured person was transported to the Kragujevac University Clinical Center by ambulance.
Immediately after receiving the report, firefighting-rescue units came to the scene, cut the vehicle and pulled out the casualty.
During the investigation, traffic was slow on this section of the highway.
