President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today received the credentials from the newly-appointed ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ahmed Almenhali, stressing during the ceremony that Serbia is proud of its friendly ties and strategic partnership with the UAE.

"We are ready to maintain an intensive political dialogue and exchange of visits at a high and the highest level in the coming period as well, and thereby give an additional impetus to the development of our overall cooperation," the Serbian president posted on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

Vucic said that he once again thanked President of the UAE Sheik Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his sincere friendship and willingness to personally help and support Serbia and our people.

"It was with particular pleasure that I received the credentials from the newly appointed ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, to whom I wished a warm welcome and much success during his term in Belgrade, the hospitality of which he will have a chance to experience," wrote Vucic, hoping that the ambassador will feel at home in the Serbian capital.
