Gruesome crime in Prizren: Turk murders 15-year-old daughter using a knife, seriously injures another
A horrific crime took place in Prizren, a town inn Kosovo and Metohija, when Turkish citizen Mehmet Gorenc (44), killed his daughter (15) using a knife, and seriously injured another, an 11-year-old girl.

His wife (35) was also injured in the attack that took place in the early hours of the moring.
The Kosovo police announced that the suspect has been detained and is under police surveillance at the Regional Hospital in Prizren, because after committing the murder, he tried to injure himself.
An ambulance crew first at the scene could not help the victims because the attacker was still holding the knife. That is why they called the police, after which four patrols arrived and quickly overpowered and arrested the suspect.
A spokesperson for the Kosovo police, Shaqir Bytyqi, confirmed that upon arrival, the police found three victims, one of whom, a 15-year-old girl, had died on the spot.
Her younger sister is in critical condition and has been transferred to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina, while her mother has also been hospitalized with minor injuries.
The police continue to investigate the tragic case, while the public is alarmed by the brutality of this instance of domestic violence, that ended in murder.
