So-called Kosovo police raids Post of Serbia facility with the goal of opening "Post of Kosovo" branch there
Today, members of the so-called Kosovo police raided a shut down building belonging to the post office 38213 Priluzje, in the municipality of Vucitrn in Kosovo and Metohija, the Post of Serbia (Posta Srbije) public company has announced.
According to a statement, during this latest illegal action, the Kosovo police entered the sealed Post of Serbia building, with vehicles of the said police and of the so-called Post of Kosovo spotted in front.
The goal is obvious, to seize the property, illegally appropriate it and open an office of so-called Post of Kosovo there.
"A new act of the most brutal violence against Serbian institutions and property is underway, which, in addition to destroying agreements reached within the framework of dialogue and preventing the process of normalization of relations, represents a gross violation of the basic principles of international law.
We appeal to all international institutions to resolutely condemn and stand in the way of more violence that is part of a comprehensive terrorist plan to disrupt life and persecute Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, using various methods of pressure, threats and blackmail," the statement said.
It recalled that despite the negotiations that took place in Brussels at the time, the Post of Serbia branch in Priluzje was closed in January of this year by the Pristina authorities, along with all post offices south of the Ibar that work in the Post of Serbia system.
