Elections scheduled in Kosovo and Metohija

The president of the so-called of Kosovo institutions, Vjosa Osmani, has set October 12, 2025 as the date for local elections in Kosovo and Metohija.

This decision was made after considering proposals from political entities, as well as after a complete analysis, in accordance with the constitutional and legal deadlines, it has been announced.

"Setting this date aims to allow for the full preparation of the election process by the responsible institutions, including the Central Election Commission and other relevant institutions, in order to respect the highest standards of election administration," said a statement issued by Osmani's office.
