Air Serbia confirms cyber attack - experts have been engaged, National CERT notified

After information about a cyber attack against Air Serbia appeared on domestic and foreign sites, the national carrier officially confirmed to the Aero.rs portal that it was indeed the target of hackers.

"Air Serbia was recently the target of a cyber attack. We took that situation very seriously. Our IT security team, in cooperation with external experts, immediately launched activities to identify and eliminate the problem," a statement said.
The company points out that all the necessary measures have been taken in order to preserve the security of the system and prevent any possible consequences.
In line with the law, the National CERT (electronic communications regulator) has also been informed about the incident.
