Internally displaced persons urged to vote in elections in Kosovo and Metohija

The Republic of Serbia has invited internally displaced persons from the southern province, who are temporarily located in central Serbia, to vote in the local elections in Kosovo and Metohija scheduled for October 12, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations has announced.

The Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations is informing those interested that they can exercise their right if they have a valid identity card issued by the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina.

Interested citizens can call the toll-free number 0800 000 506 for registration and detailed information, each working day from 08:00 to 16:00 hours, until October 10.

"Every vote is important for the survival of our people in their centuries-old homes in Kosovo and Metohija," the announcement states.
