Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army General Milan Mojsilovic had an urgent telephone conversation with KFOR Commander Major General Ozkan Ulutas regarding the continuation of the arming of the so-called Kosovo Security Forces (KSF), this time with Turkish drones SKYDAGGER RTF 15, the Serbian Army has announced.

During the conversation with the KFOR commander, who comes from Turkey and who a few days ago started his second mandate as the head of the international security forces in Kosovo and Metohija, General Mojsilovic expressed a strong protest against the continuation of the arming the so-called Kosovo Security Forces and the brutal violation of UN Security Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement.

The Chief of the General Staff pointed out that such moves represent a very bad signal and threaten not only the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija, but also in the entire region of the Western Balkans.

Mojsilovic reiterated that the Republic of Serbia, in line with international law, the UN resolution and all other signed agreements, sees KFOR as the only legitimate armed formation in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija and once again requested that the international forces consistently and impartially implement their mandate and provide a safe environment and freedom of movement for everyone, and above all for the Serb community in our southern province.
