Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic, in his capacity as the envoy of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, is visiting Angola until November 11.

Dacic is there to take part in the marking the 50th anniversary of the national independence of the Republic of Angola.
On Tuesday, November 11, Dacic will attend the central event marking the anniversary of the independence of Angola, hosted by President Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco, which will be held at the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto Memorial Complex, a statement issued by Dacic's cabinet said.
As part of the central event, Dacic will attend the laying of a wreath at the sarcophagus of Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto, the founder of the nation and the first president of the Republic of Angola, as well as a civil and a military parade.
The Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Angola have traditionally friendly diplomatic relations that were established in 1975.
The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in which Serbia was one of the six republics, was among the first to establish diplomatic relations with the independent Angola.
