Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said today in Subotica, northern Serbia, that he will have meetings in the coming days to secure oil and gas for his country, and added that Hungary will "share everything with Serbia."

"We don't have significant sources of oil and gas and we live mainly on imports from Russia, while Americans have imposed sanctions. I will have two jobs, first, to exempt Hungary from sanctions, and that there is oil, not merely papers and permits," Orban, who is today meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic, said.

"In the coming days and tomorrow, I will be conducting negotiations with this goal in mind, and we will have both oil and exemption from sanctions. Oil and gas will arrive in Hungary," Orban said in response to journalists who asked how Hungary might help Serbia when it comes to energy supplies.

"If Hungary has that, then you will have it too, and everything we have, we will share with you," said Orban.
