President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and his wife Tamara Vucic last night in Belgrade hosted a dinner in honor of President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili and his wife Tamar Bagrationi.

Kavelashvili is on his first official visit to the Republic of Serbia.

"It is an honor and a great pleasure that I had the opportunity to host this dinner for my dear friend, President Kavelashvili. I hope that during his stay in Serbia, he will experience traditional Serbian hospitality and the special affection and respect that the Serbian people have for the people of Georgia.

Our countries understand each other well, because we are connected by common values and similar challenges. But tonight is an opportunity to open topics that go beyond politics, from good Serbian and Georgian wines, to our common passion for football (mine, however, at the amateur level, compared to his).

I believe in even better relations and stronger cooperation between Serbia and Georgia going forward," President Vucic stated in a post on Instagram.
