BLOODY NIGHT IN BACKA PALANKA: 20-year-old riddled with bullets, attacker at large, police block town
A little after midnight on Tuesday, a shooting incident happened in the Blok Partizan neighborhood of Backa Palanka, during which a 20-year-old man was wounded.

The incident took place under still unclear circumstances. According to initial information, an unknown attacker fired shots in the direction of the young man and then fled the scene.
Members of the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) immediately went to the scene, blocked off this part of the settlement and conducted a detailed investigation.
According to BAP Vesti, the attacker is still on the run, and the police continue searching for him.
Victim's condition
After getting shot, the young man was treated at the emergency center, but there is still no official information about the extent of his injuries and his current condition.
The motive for this attack will be determined by the investigation, which is ongoing.
Citizens in this part of Backa Palanka are disturbed by the night's event, while the police have increased the number of patrols in this area of the town.
