RECORD IS BROKEN! Beautiful scenes at Lake Gazivode: As many as 300 people swim to retrieve Cross on Epiphany

A record has been broken this Orthodox Epiphany in the municipality of Zubin Potok in the north of Kosovo and Metohija.

As many as 300 swimmers braved the icy Lake Gazivode in a bid to retrieve the Holy Cross.

300 registered participants jumped into the lake and began to swim to the finish line - to the Holy Cross.

None were deterred by the extremely cold weather.
