Young executioner arrested! Killer of supporters' leader caught 3 months after ambush in "passage of death"

P.V. (born in 2007), who is suspected of committing the brutal murder of Tadija Pantic (23), one of the leaders of Partizan supporters from Zemun, has been arrested in a major operation carried out by the Belgrade police and the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office.

According to unofficial information, the suspect was arrested in an apartment in Belgrade he was using to lie low.

The young man, who at the time the crime was committed was barely of age, is believed to have fired fatal shots at Pantic in broad daylight, three months ago in New Belgrade.

We have learned that P.V. was identified as the result of several months of operational work and analysis of footage taken from surveillance cameras. The suspect will spend up to 48 hours in police custody before he is brought to the prosecution on charges of aggravated murder.

Although young, the suspect was incredibly cool-headed during the killing that was planned in detail.

Victim saw killer and tried to escape

The murder took place on November 22, 2025, around noon in Arsenija Carnojevica Boulevard while it was full of people. Two attackers on a scooter without license plates intercepted Pantic.

Sources from the investigation say that the victim, noticing the masked attackers, tried to escape.

Pantic ran along a path between the buildings, trying to get away from the killers. They caught up with him in a narrow passage and fired at least five shots, the ones to the head resulting in his death.

He avoided bomb and ambush on Gazela Bridge, but not November 22

According to police records, Tadija Pantic was already targeted twice before. He survived a movie-like showdown on the Gazela Bridge in June of last year, while operational data indicates that a bomb that accidentally exploded in September in an apartment in central Belgrade was also intended for him. The third attack proved fatal for Pantic.

Who was the second shooter?

The police are now working to find out who was the accomplice on the scooter, but also who ordered this brutal liquidation. They are checking whether the suspect who has been arrested was hired to commit the murder as part of the war among supporter factions, or if the motive is a deeper conflict in the Belgrade criminal underground.
