The head of the Bajakovo border crossing (between Croatia and Serbia) has been arrested in an operation carried out by Croatia's USKOK unit, Croatian media are reporting.

The chief of the Bajakovo border police Luka Domacinovic is suspected of making illegal monetary gains in the amount of 4,000 euros.

He was arrested because he reported as working, but was in fact at home, and receiving his salary.

After questioning the suspect, USKOK will make a decision about further action in the case, and inform the public in a timely manner.
