Odalovic: Organs of victims from Kosovo and Metohija were sold to rich individuals abroad
The organs of the victims kidnapped from Kosovo and Metohija and held in Albanioa (by the "Kosovo Liberation Army," KLA) - were removed from them and sold to wealthy buyers abroad, Veljko Odalovic, the chairman of the Commission for Missing Persons of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He recalled that the prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Carla del Ponte, stated that Serbs and other non-Albanians were taken from Kosovo and Metohija to the "Yellow House" in the Burrel area in the north of Albania, had their organs extracted, and then sold.
"At one point, the Western media reported that a certain number of women from Eastern European countries and the former Soviet Union ended up at this location in Albania. However, no investigation was conducted, because if this was to be confirmed, it would have revealed that the human organs taken (from the victims) were not intended for Serbia, (including) Kosovo and Metohija, or other countries in the region, but were transported by plane to wherever someone had the means to buy those organs, taken from the innocent victims," Odalovic said.
