Aleksandar Vucic: I am considering running for prime minister
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesdaz that he is considering a candidacy for prime minister, as well as that he plans to resign from the post of president of Serbia.

Asked if he plans to resign in the next three to four months, Vucic told Radio Beograd 1 that this may happen "even sooner than that".
"And I'm not going to tell the people that I've cut my term short, I'm going to say that I've resigned," said Vucic, adding that it won't be a surprise to anyone.
Regarding his candidacy for prime minister, he said that the party (SNS) is "thinking about it" every day.
"We have an important meeting now, and we will have an important meeting later tonight at eight," said Vucic.
He added that he has started packing his books at the Presidency.
"I have a lot of books and I'm looking for a place to put them. I asked all my friends to tell me where I could, who can receive 500 books, who can receive 1,000. I will donate the 1,200 books that I received during my presidential term, I will donate them to an institution. I'm still considering which institution it will be," said Vucic.
When asked if the SNS is thinking about a presidential candidate for the next presidential election, Vucic replied that they are, but that they will not come out with the candidate's name at the Vidovdan (June 28) gathering.
"It will certainly be a winning candidate. Certainly someone more responsible, dare I say more educated, since I have certain people on my mind, and more energetic and a person who knows what the state is - than are their (opposition's) two potential candidates, Djokic and Bodiroga. Much more educated, especially than that one," said Vucic.
He invited people to come to the rally on Vidovdan because he will talk about "the plans, programs and packages."
"We will also announce the name of the (electoral) list. We will also talk about the principle by which the list will be compiled. Therefore, we will have a large number of students, young people, energetic people, to show that type of change, as the most successful companies in the world do. We will create a student list, but we will make the most serious list, a list of the most responsible people, where there will certainly be students, so that when people want to vote for students, they will vote for our list," Vucic said.
