Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Two Serb elementary school principals detained in Kosovo and Metohija
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced on Thursday evening that two principals of Serb elementary schools in Kosovska Kamenica in Kosovo and Metohija were detained on political grounds and by order from Pristina, adding that, after spending several hours questioned by the police, they were detained for up to 48 hours.

They are Negovan Vasic, the head of Elementary School Bratstvo from the village of Strezovce, and Dragan Krstic from Elementary School Desanka Maksimovic from Kosovska Kamenica.
"Members of the special units of the so-called (Kosovo) police, fully armed, first raided the principals' family homes, conducting searches that caused enormous stress and fear among their families, especially among the children, and then raided the Bratstvo school, where they collected school documents, without any basis or right to do so," a statement said.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija stressed that this operation is part of Albin Kurti's revenge for the excellent result achieved by the Serb List in the elections held last week.
"This represents retaliation by Albin Kurti's regime for the excellent result of the Serb List in the Sunday elections and especially, the poor showing of Kurti's favorite (Nenad) Rasic in Kosovska Kamenica. Their only political goal is to expel, arrest and intimidate honest Serbs who are not and cannot be forced to work and vote for them (Pristina)," the Office said.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija stressed that the so-called the Kosovo police have nothing to look for in Serb schools, nor do they have any authority there.
"With this emonstration of force, the regime in Pristina is trying to criminalize Serbs and bring unease and fear among all honest Serbs in Kosovsko Pomoravlje," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated.
The Office also demanded that the arrested directors be released and for the pressure on the Serb people to stop.
"There is no force and coercion that Kurti and his servant Rasic can use to justify their election debacle in all the Serb communities," stated the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
