Incredible new observation deck is opening in Serbia, sitting between the clouds and mountains!

Serbia is officially launching one of its most attractive tourist destinations today. The glass observation deck on Mt. Kablar has been officially opened in the presence of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Serbian National Assembly Ana Brnabic, Minister of Tourism Husein Memic and members of the city administration of Cacak.

Starting on Saturday morning, the observation deck will be open to all visitors. The entrance fee is 500 dinars.

Milos Stevanic, assistant to the mayor of Cacak for infrastructure and local self-government, said that the construction lasted for several years and that the structure successfully passed all the necessary technical checks, after which it received a permit from the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

During the safety test, the smaller platform was loaded with 50 tons, and the larger with 82 tons of weight, which confirmed the stability of the platform while receiving a large number of visitors.

Numerous supporting projects have also been completed. The road from Ovcar Banja to the observation deck has been built, the railway station was reconstructed, as well as the Nature Center, the marina and the promenade along the bank of Medjuvrsje.

Stevanic announced that the development of the Ovcar - Kablar gorge will continue with new investments in the water supply and sewerage networks, which will create the conditions for further development of tourism infrastructure.

The safety of visitors will be ensured by 24-hour security, while the working hours of the observation deck will be officially announced soon.

The glass observation deck is located at 879 meters above sea level, just below the top of Mt. Kablar. The structure offers impressive views across as many as three municipalities, towards Kraljevo, the Pozega Valley, Lucani, and the mountainous regions towards Arilje.

According to estimates, the new attraction could triple the number of tourists in this area. Around 100,000 people visit there annually, while it is expected that with the opening of the glass observation deck, that number will increase to at least 300,000 visitors per year.

The complex, which was designed by the Energoprojekt company, covers about 1,000 square meters and includes a visitor center, glass platforms, a staircase, a roof with solar panels and accompanying tourist facilities, which provides Kablar with a new attraction that will further enrich Serbia's tourist offer.
