Vucic and Giaufret speak about relations between Serbia and EU, and dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke today with Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe at the European External Action Service Emanuele Giaufret about relations between Serbia and the European Union, and about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
"A good conversation with Emanuele Giaufret about relations between Serbia and the European Union, our European path, the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and issues of importance for the further progress of the country. We discussed the steps ahead of Serbia, the continuation of reforms, economic development and cooperation with the European Union, which remains our most important trade and investment partner," Vucic stated in a post published on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".
Vucic thanked Giaufret for the good cooperation during his mandate in Belgrade (as EU ambassador), as well as for the support and help he provided to Serbia on its EU membership path.
"We continue dialogue and joint work on everything that can speed up our progress towards membership in the European Union and bring concrete results to our citizens," the president stated.
