A small plane with one person on board crashed after 10:00 hours this morning in Rokovci, near Vinkovci in Croatia.

The 24sata.hr portal said they learned unofficially that the pilot was injured, as the plane ended up in a corn field close to the runway.
Croatian media reported later in the morning that the pilot succumbed to his injuries.
Emergency services were sent to the scene.
An emergency medical transport helicopter was also at the scene of the accident.
