Two people lost their lives in a terrible traffic accident that happened today around noon on the Belgrade-Nis highway, near Kolari.

The tragedy occurred when a passenger vehicle and a truch collided under circumstances that have yet to be clarified. According to unofficial information, it is assumed that the truck hit the car, and the rear end of the vehicle was completely crushed.
The force of the impact caused the truck to overturn, while the car suffered complete damage. Two people who were in the car died instantly.
The scene of the accident was distressing, with parts of the vehicles scattered on the road, and traffic on this section was completely stopped.
This caused kilometers-long lines to form on the highway from the direction of Nis, so drivers were advised to be extremely patient or use alternative routes.
Members of the traffic police and the competent prosecutor were on the ground conducting an investigation in order to determine all the circumstances and the exact cause of this serious accident.
