HORRIFIC PHOTOS FROM THE SCENE! Singer Goran Maksimovic (26) killed, two others seriously injured in crash

The first photos from the scene of a horrific traffic accident that happened around 06:20 hours in Slatina, in the territory of Sabac, in which Goran Maksimovic (26) was killed, while two people were injured, show the force of the crash.

The photos show the vehicle in which Goran Maksimovic was traveling got almost completely crushed after it drove off the road and into a canal. Almost the entire hood was crushed and therefore pressed the driver and a passenger in the vehicle during the impact. For now, it is not known which seat the singer was in.

According to the first information obtained by Telegraf.rs, the accident occurred when a passenger vehicle, under circumstances that have not yet been determined, ran off the road at high speed, and three people got trapped inside it.

Eyewitnesses and passers-by managed to pull one person out of the wreckage and adminsterd first aid before the emergency crews arrived.

The fire-rescue unit from Sabac reacted quickly - four fire-rescuers with one special vehicle arrived only 12 minutes after the report. Finding the horrific sight and the remaining two people completely trapped in the crushed metal, the firefighters immediately started cutting the vehicle with a special hydraulic tool.

Eventually the remaining two casualties were pulled out and handed over to the emergency doctors who arrived at the scene of the accident. Unfortunately, there was no way to save for Goran Maksimovic - the doctor on duty could only pronounce him dead due severe injuries sustained in the accident.

Two injured people were treated on the spot, and were then rushed to the General Hospital in Sabac.

The traffic police conducted an investigation and the exact causes of this tragedy - whether it was inappropriate speed, slippery road or loss of control over the vehicle - will be known after the completion of all expert examinations.
