Petkovic: Three Serbs also died in Banjska, Pristina is yet to provide many answers

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic says that three Serbs were killed in Banjska on this day in 2023 and that Pristina did not answer many questions about that event, without which there can be no truth.

Petkovic pointed out that the results of the autopsies have not been published to this day, because Pristina wants to hide the fact that the three Serbs were killed after they were captured.

"Albanian policeman Afrim Bunjaku was not the only one who died, as many want to present, but also three Serbs, who for the Serb people, especially in the north, will never be terrorists!," Petkovic stated in a post on X.

He added that Igor Milenkovic, Stefan Nedeljkovic and Bojan Mijailovic lost their lives three years ago in Banjska by being executed at close range by Albin Kurti's police.

Petkovic pointed out that Pristina still owes answers to questions about why it did not allow Serbian pathologists to participate in the autopsies, why EULEX could not be present during the investigation on the ground, and why all of the drone footage has never been published.

"Without those answers, there is no truth," Petkovic stated.

On this day in 2023, in Banjska near Zvecan, an armed conflict between a group of local Serbs and members of the so-called Kosovo police broke out, in which three Serbs lost their lives - Igor Milenkovic, Stefan Nedeljkovic, and Bojan Mijailovic, as well as Albanian policeman Bunjaku.

Pristina characterized the event in Banjska as alleged "terrorism" and "attack on the constitutional order" of so-called Kosovo, and in April of this year, the basic court of the provisional institutions in Pristina sentenced Blagoje Spasojevic and Vladimir Tolic to life in prison, and Dusan Maksimovic to 30 years, in connection with the events in Banjska.
