The leader of the "Aleksandar Vucic - United Serbia" list, Aleksandar Vucic, said last night that during election day on October 25 and the day after he expects various tricks and hysteria, but that in the end things will be calm and that he does not expect riots and he is not afraid of them.

"There will be various tricks, hysteria, everything and in the end everything will be calm and everything will be fine," Vucic told RT Balkan, when asked what he expects to happen on October 25 and especially on October 26, the day after the election.

When asked if he expects riots, Vucic said that he is not afraid of riots at all.

"I'm not afraid of riots at all. I haven't been afraid of riots in a long time," Vucic said, adding that he doesn't expect riots either.

If that happens, it will be over quickly, he added.

"I would be happiest if there was no intervention by anyone. But you have to understand: 10 or 20 of them gather, 10,000 of us gather, and they'd like to attack. The police protect and guard them all the time. And then they lunge towards policemen's shields and visors and so on. It's all ridiculous, it's all (secret) networks," Vucic said.

He added that there will not be too many problems and pointed out that the state is consolidated and serious.

When asked why a part of those who consider themselves to be the elite have a strong aversion toward him and why they are silent to the national sentiment that has become politically "mainstream" in the 14 years that the Serbian Progressive Party has been in power, Vucic said this is because the false elite, the quasi or pseudo-elite has its own principles that are based on values that are mostly personal and related to a closed circle of people.

"They have no interest in the welfare of the common person. They are not interested in Vucic's program for the south of Serbia. They are not interested in Kosovo, they are not interested in the Kablar observation deck, they are not interested in any of that," said Vucic.

Stating that Belgrade Waterfront is today the most visited and most attractive part of the Serbian capital, Vucic said that his political opponents go there every day, but they will never admit it.

"You have to understand a psychological aspect: they will not recognize your success, because they were not part of that success. Only what the pseudo-elite participated in is worth anything," said Vucic.

As he added that one can only see "hatred pouring out of them."

Vucic said his attitude is rational, that he is looking at the results, and pointed out that he is proud of those he has achieved.

"I'm not satisfied with many things, I believe they could have been done better. But what we did will go down in history. In 12 or 14 years, counting since the time (I was) prime minister or in total, no one has done as much for Serbia as we have. No one ever. And let me tell you right away: it's unlikely that anyone will," he emphasized.

Vucic added that no one has ever made decisions with so much passion and so much courage, and that they never will again.

"We worked faster, stronger, more successfully. We restored the country, raised the country, in every sense. Roads, railways, science and technology parks, artificial intelligence. We built healthcare centers, clinical and hospital centers, which today look like 'space shuttles'," he said.

He pointed out that he is interested in the results, that he delivers the results and that he is interested in his place in history.
