Starting today, June 1, citizens of Serbia will be able to be tested at their personal request to find out if they have developed antibodies against coronavirus, and the price of that test will be 1,200 dinars.

This type of screening, also known as "ELISA testing," will be done in all health centers, institutes and public health institutes, in the Institute for Protection of the Health of Railway Workers and in the Institute for Protection of Student Health.

This decision was made by the Crisis HQ of Serbia during its session on Wednesday.

Epidemiologist Darija Kisic Tepavcevic explained for Tanjug at the time that the decision was made to start serological screening on June 1, at personal request of citizens who do not meet the established indications for free testing.

"In that way, they will be able to find out whether they have antibodies against the virus and whether they had came into contact with the virus in the previous period," said Kisic Tepavcevic.
