The locals in Velika Kladusa fought for and managed to secure a ban on the transport of migrants to the Una-Sana Canton (in FBiH entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina).

According to Avaz, an incident occurred when Sead Karajic on Sunday afternoon brought back a bus full of illegal migrants. On that occasion, as reported by the Bosnian media, he caused dissatisfaction among the locals who have had problems with migrants for three years.

"Buses transporting migrants will be stopped at the entity line and at the entrance to the Una-Sana Canton," a decision of the Operational Group for Migration in this canton has said.

The citizens of Velika Kladusa continued today to keep their so-called watches and point out that they don't believe in the promises of the authorities. As they say, it was the right move that the police were with them last night at the checkpoint in Purici near Velika Kladusa.

"Only now do we feel that the police are with us," said the citizens who were keeping watch at the checkpoint until two o'clock in the morning.

Due to the situation with migrants in Bihac, protests have been announced for August 29.
