President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that we will face a vicious disease in the most cruel way, but that it is good that we are building hospitals.

"Now the panic starts. How can there be no panic when the number of infected people is growing?"

He added that there is no doubt that the situation with coronavirus in Serbia will get worse.

The president of Serbia said that the situation is terrible in the whole of Europe, but that we are holding up well as far as coronavirus is concerned, even though today was one of the worst days in the last few weeks.

One person died in the last 24 hours

These are today's figures when it comes to coronavirus: in the last 24 hours, 6,428 people were tested in Serbia, of which 245 were positive, while one person died. There are 22 patients are on ventilators.

A total of 768 people have died so far. 80 patients are hospitalized, which is the largest number since September 2.

Region

Coronavirus continues to flare up in regional countries, while Serbia seems to be resisting the rise in infections, at least for now.

Croatia has had the worst day so far. Today, 748 new cases have been recorded, which is the largest number since the beginning of the pandemic. 6,400 people were tested.

A new black record was set in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, as in the past 24 hours,Covid was confirmed in another 476 people. 11 people died.

The situation is similar in Slovenia, a country that in May and June had many days without a single coronavirus case, while today it broke all records with 707 new cases in the last 24 hours.
