After allegations that appeared in some media that President Vladimir Putin canceled his previously announced visit to Serbia, the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Aleksandr Botsan Kharchenko, reacted and said that this was a "complete and irresponsible fabrication."

"The presidents of Russia and Serbia are in constant and substantive contact and always coordinate their moves with each other. As soon as the time comes, everything will be officially revealed," he wrote on Twitter.

Otherwise, the two of them spoke during a conference last week, where they discussed negotiations that the Serbian delegation conducted in Washington and Brussels with representatives of provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina, as well as about other current regional issues.
